Block problematic players so that they cannot rejoin your games after you kick them. The entire point of hosting games locally is so that you are in power when these issues occur. It sounds like you are upset over not understanding the intricacies of hosting more than anything else.
Oh look, another week, another whine post. You will need to enable developer console to use these commands. If you are running a dedicated server you will have to use the rcon or sm_rcon (for sourcemod) command to use this. This is currently the only way to remove temporary votekick bans. This one is very important as you can't even remove temporary votekick bans using sourcemod. Removing votekick bans: removeid - Remove a user ID from the ban list. If you want to keep the steamid banned forever, I believe you have to use the writeid command. Placing a zero will permanently ban the steamid until your game shuts down. Local host banning: banid - Add a user ID to the ban list. Get used to using it regularly to keep an eye on everyone's steamid so you can scroll back when needed if someone gets kicked or tries to name-change. This command allows you to see all user's steamids.
If you do not want to install Sourcemod to your local server, here are some things you can try: Status bind: bind "g" "status" I have fun from winning and being competitive. Not everyone is going to have fun dicking around and playing poorly, which sounds very unfun to me. TLDR: Holy fucking shit you people must not have any real life friends if you are this fucking toxic.įun is different for everyone. Why? Why does this make any sense? How fucking long has this game been out? Why is it impossible for you little fuckwits to just play an utterly irrelevant piece of graphic entertainment and just enjoy it for what it is, instead of being so toxic about not achieving victory in a game that does not award victory in anyway. Oh wait, he's STILL FUCKING STEAM ID BANNED. Okay, quit game, crash server, start new server, invite said friends. Try to reinvite and he's fucking BANNED from playing ON HIS STEAM FRIENDS SERVER because of a RANDOM TROLL. We win as infected, random people on other team votekick my friend off my server.
Has nothing better to do but rejoin and try to talk more shit. Try to explain that its our lobby and were just a couple of guys drinking playing games having fun. Start up a local hosted lobby with the boys for fun games of VS, we have to be on separate teams or else it won't start.Ĭan't even go 1 round without someone joining and just hurling abuse for every tiny mishap. There isn’t much to say here, just don’t be an ass or harass people.
